Last month, the all-new Porsche 911 Speedster entered production at the Porsche plant in Zuffenhausen, Germany. Only 1,948 units of this high-performance open-top two-seater will be produced, making this a very rare iteration of the Porsche 911. The 911 Speedster debuted as a concept last year in Germany but will now be produced as a real-world, drivable model.
The 911 Speedster will take its power from a naturally aspirated six-cylinder boxer engine, linked to a six-speed manual sports transmission that produces 502 horsepower (375 kW) and 347 lb-ft of torque (470 Nm). Even more impressive, the Porsche 911 Speedster will sprint from 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds (0 to 100 km/hr in 4 seconds flat) and achieves a top speed of 192 mph (310 km/hr).
Inside, the new Porsche 911 Speedster includes sleek black leather seating and Speedster logos on the head restraints. A Heritage Design package is available for the Porsche 911 Speedster, containing elements from Porsche models of the 1950s and 1960s, like an interior color scheme of Black and Cognac with golden details.
If you’ve ever wanted to experience the full-throated exhilaration of Porsche, the all-new Porsche 911 Speedster is what you’re looking for. Contact the team at Gossett Porsche and we’ll get you behind the wheel.
